Here’s What’s NOT Eligible for Points
- Team sports (baseball, softball, bowling,
volleyball etc.) Although these activities do involve physical activity,
sitting or stationary periods interrupt the benefits of this type of
exercise and, thus, make it difficult to quantify. Basketball & soccer may
be counted for accrual points. Golf may only be counted if you walk the
course rather than using a golf cart
- Doing housework or yard work.
- Walking around your office or workplace during
the course of performing your job duties.
- Playing with young children.
- Riding any recreational vehicles other than a
bicycle (e.g. snowmobiles, four wheelers, scooters, personal water craft,
etc.
- Horse riding.
- Other activities that may involve light
physical activity.
